Reports from HRT confirm the improvement in the condition of former Defense Minister Marijo Banožić. He has been moved from the Intensive Care Unit to the Neurosurgery Clinic, where he continues to receive multidisciplinary treatment, KBC Osijek announced. The former minister’s lawyer has submitted a request for the activation of his parliamentary mandate, which was suspended following his dismissal.
According to Croatian law, Banožić has eight days to activate his mandate from dismissal. In addition to activating the mandate, the lawyer also requested that it be put on hold and that the use of the so-called 6+6 privilege be activated. This means that Banožić will receive his full official salary for the next six months and half of it for the next six months.
