The Eagles and Chiefs both have unchanged inactive lists for their upcoming games. Philadelphia will be without tight end Dallas Goedert, who fractured his forearm two weeks ago in a game against the Cowboys. The Eagles hope that Goedert returns sooner than the four-game minimum required for him to be placed on injured reserve, which is why they did not make that move. Defensive end Derek Barnett has been ruled out for personal reasons, but he likely would have been a healthy scratch regardless since he has no sacks in eight games this season. The other inactives for the Eagles include offensive guard Sua Opeta, running back Rashaad Penny, defensive tackle Moro Ojomo and quarterback Tanner McKee, who will serve as the emergency third-string quarterback.
On the other hand, the Chiefs activated punt returner Richie James back to the 53-player roster from injured reserve Saturday but made him inactive for Monday Night Football due to a questionable designation. He has not played since Week 2. The Chiefs’ other inactives are interior offensive lineman Mike Caliendo, defensive end Malik Herring, defensive end BJ Thompson and defensive tackle Neil Farrell.
