20,000 fans gathered at Maksimir to witness the final match of the Croatian national football team against Armenia in the qualifiers for Euro 2024. The Brazilian fan who stood out at the “fire” match was Rafael Beserra, a big fan of the “fire”.
Bessera’s dream came true when he was introduced to the public at the end of the League of Nations in Rotterdam and met his idol Luka Modrić (38). Not long after, he received an invitation from the Croatian Tourist Board and visited Croatia as a guest of honor. He is now studying Croatian in Zagreb and living his dream.

Beserra’s dedication to the national team is evident by his purchase of tickets for Euro 2024 in Germany. “I will definitely go,” he said. “I bought the tickets.”
