Get ready to celebrate the holiday season in Brazil, Indiana as the 4th Annual Hometown Christmas event is set to take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This festive event is being hosted by Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, and is part of Small Business Saturday.
Local businesses and vendors in Clay County will be participating in the event, offering special activities and promotions for attendees. One of the highlights of the event is a scavenger hunt that will take participants to various businesses in the area. The winners of the scavenger hunt will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Brazil City Hall.
With over 30 participating locations and dozens of craft vendors, there are plenty of opportunities for attendees to shop and explore. Participants can pick up a paper passport at any of the participating locations, then visit each business to collect a Christmas stamp. Once they have stamps from at least 20 locations, they will be eligible for prizes.
To make planning easier, Thrive West Central has created a Hometown Christmas layer in their Crossroads Trails App, which allows participants to easily see all of the participating locations. Simply search for “West Central Indiana Trail Map” in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store on your phone to access this convenient map and guide for the day’s activities. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled event that promises to kick off your holiday season!
