Idaho’s rural economy is a complex and multifaceted topic, and on Tuesday, February 13th, Labor Economist Ryan Whitesides will be hosting a webinar to discuss the various components of this unique economy. The webinar, which will take place from 11 a.m. to noon MT, will cover topics such as demographics, population, and the different industries that make up rural Idaho’s economy.
Whitesides emphasizes that rural Idaho’s economy can mean different things to different people, and it is not solely based on agriculture. He explains that there are other components such as forests, community gateways to national parks, and more that contribute to the overall economic health of rural Idaho.
