When it comes to decorating for Christmas, why not take it up a notch and celebrate the biggest gift of the year? For Jesse Gonzales, this meant transforming his North Richland Hills home into a Texas Rangers-themed wonderland. His driveway is now adorned with scenes from the 2023 World Series, complete with giant LED screens and even jerseys on skeletons.
The reaction has been nothing short of phenomenal, with people coming by every day to see the festive display. Jesse and his wife Angela are clearly Texas Rangers super fans, having gone on their first date to a game and later getting engaged at one. So when the Rangers won the World Series, they knew they had to incorporate their love of baseball into their holiday decorations.
It took about 10,000 lights and plenty of planning to create this unique show, which is choreographed to Post Malone’s song “Congratulations.” The entire family is thrilled with the result and hopes more people will come by to enjoy it before they put up their real Christmas decorations on December 1st.
For Jesse, it’s all about sharing in the joy of the Rangers’ victory and reliving that special moment again through his holiday decorations. “I want them to experience the excitement of watching the final pitch projected on the big screen here,” he said. “Then we run through highlight after highlight from that incredible series.”
