The assassination of American President John F. Kennedy, also known as JFK or Jack, on this day 60 years ago is a story that continues to captivate the world. The Kennedy family, one of the most famous and influential in American history, has been plagued with hard-to-explain tragedies for decades. Jack’s sister Rosemary was left completely immobile after a lobotomy when she was just two years older than him. Kathleen died in a plane crash in the French Alps when she was only 25 years old. Older brother Joe died in a war plane and their brother Robert was killed during his campaign for the presidency in 1968.
