The Croatian tennis player Ivan Dodig (38) finished the year as the second best doubles player in the world, behind American Austin Krajicek (33), who won the year-end rankings by just 510 points. Despite falling on the last step in Adelaide and Eastbourne, Dodig and his partner Krajicek won five tournaments together this year, including the Rotterdam, Monte Carlo (Masters), Roland Garros, Queen’s and Beijing titles.
Meanwhile in the singles competition, Novak Đoković once again dominated another season, leaving behind Carlos Alcaraz, Danilo Medvjedev, Jannik Sinner and Andrej Rubljov as his top rivals. Borna Ćorić ended the year as the 37th tennis player in the world, while Borna Gojo came in at 72nd. Unfortunately for Marin Čilić, he dropped out of the Top 500 altogether.
In addition to these top players, several other Indian tennis players also ended the year in the Top 10. Rohan Bopanna (43), who is widely considered one of India’s greatest tennis players of all time, finished third in the doubles rankings this year.
