On Sunday, during the Jets’ game against the Bills, left tackle Mekhi Becton suffered an ankle injury and had to be carted back to the locker room for further evaluation. He did not return to the game and his absence was filled by rookie Carter Warren. Head coach Robert Saleh stated that Becton would undergo more tests, including an MRI on Monday, to assess the extent of the injury. The Jets have used seven different offensive line combinations this season and the results of Monday’s tests will determine if they need to use an eighth combination for their upcoming game against the Dolphins on Friday.
