In 2023, Krajicek, a Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, achieved the No. 1 spot on the ATP Doubles Rankings. His partner, Ivan Dodig, was ranked No. 2 in the world. Together, they secured five tournament wins in 2023, including a Grand Slam Title at the French Open at Roland Garros. They clinched the championship a year after losing in the Paris title match in 2022.
Krajicek amassed 7,130 doubles points and held the No. 1 ranking for 13 weeks in the 2023 season. Hailing from Tampa, Florida, he reached a point disparity of over 500 points ahead of his second-place partner Dodig and over 740 points ahead of Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden who tied for third place. This point disparity is the largest since the final rankings of 2019.
In addition to their success on court, Krajicek and Dodig also claimed all five titles at or above the ATP 500 levels and reached the semifinals at Wimbledon and US Open respectively. This marked Krajicek as the first Aggie to finish a year as the top-ranked player in an ATP ranking.
