Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has appointed Collin Lee as its space business development vice president. Lee previously worked as VP of intelligence systems at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business for five years, which has been a significant part of his 23-year career that revolves around business consulting, defense, and intelligence.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in public administration from James Madison University, Lee started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant. He later moved to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) in 2003, where he continued to work as a consultant.
In May 2007, Lee became the legislative liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). He remained with ODNI for more than four years before being appointed director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council.
Lee began his term at GDMS as director of strategy and business development and was also named director of the company’s Frontiers space technology incubator.
