On Saturday afternoon, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a 12-year-old boy was attacked by a dog while attempting to climb onto a bicycle in Donji Draganac. The incident occurred when the dog, which was kept by a 50-year-old owner, ran out of its yard and bit the boy on the leg and back of the head. The boy sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to a hospital in Bjelovar for treatment. As a result of this incident, the police have announced that they will be filing a report against the dog’s owner for failing to supervise their pet properly. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership and how it can impact those around us.
