In the early hours of February 12th, a man allegedly stole an ATM from a business in Boyce. According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, the man approached the business in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road at around 4:55 a.m. He reportedly backed up a black Ford Fusion into the building and rammed the front doors, breaking them off their hinges to gain access to the premises.
Once inside, RPSO said he took the ATM machine and placed it in his vehicle before leaving about six minutes later. The suspect’s black Ford Fusion sustained heavy damage to its rear and is missing side mirrors. It lost its rear bumper and several undercarriage items as well.
The suspect is currently wanted for simple burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. RPSO is asking for any information related to this incident that may help with their investigation. If you have any leads or tips regarding this case, please contact your local authorities immediately.
