Three people were injured during a shooting at Longshots Sports Bar in Schererville, Indiana. The incident occurred just before midnight when a patrolling officer observed a large crowd fleeing from the bar. A witness informed the officer that shots had been fired inside the bar.
Schererville police, along with neighboring law enforcement agencies, arrived at the scene and secured it. Three individuals were found with minor injuries caused by a ricocheting bullet fragment. They were treated by the Schererville Fire Department. Authorities stated that the incident was isolated and that there was no threat to the public.
